Why go in Hydra?
   
  Hydra, although it into a paradise for day in Athens and visited seaside resort, has a picturesque harbor and appears, and the tourists. It is also a paradise for artists, and no cars are allowed anywhere on the island. Donkeys in the harbor, your bags up to the slopes to your hotel.

  Hydra is located in the heart of the Saronic Gulf near the island of Poros and Spestses.

In Hydra:

  You can use the ferry from Piraeus port of Athens, Hydra in about 3 hours, at a price of an average of less than 7 euros (see our links on the right side). You can use a return trip with stopovers in Athens, Poros or meth. You can also quickly hydrofoil boats, Flying Dolphins, which does not meet the 45 minutes. Of Hydra, you can find a flight Dolphin on the island of Spetses, or the city of Nafplio, where there is a big castle.

Hydra attractions:

  Hydra is one of my favorite ports getting too little. Combined with a trip to other islands of the Saronic Gulf, and you have yourself a nice couple days of vacation.

  Hydra city wants 365 churches. You may have desire, is the 18th Century, the Monastery of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary at sea, the largest part of the charm of this building blocks of marble cleaned of the temple of Poseidon at around Poros.

  I might just choose dusty tavern in the heart of the city, a plate of olives and a glass of Retsina to look and the sea is not that I have everything retsina background, drink, but it is one of the rituals that I need to my roles and myself to convince, I'm finally in Greece.

Beaches

  The beach is only recommended, Hydra, near the city is Mandraki, 20 minutes walk from the city, but there are others where the paths of the city in the east or the west. A walk on top of the hill offers good views of the city of Hydra (see our photo gallery).

Nightlife

  There are a lot of nightlife in the city of Hydra in summer, in Hydra is populated by young Athenians then.
